Initially, Huawei launched two smartwatches with Android Wear operating system, which shouted a huge success. But this time Huawei is not using Google’s wearable platform, instead of that, they’re using their own operating system, which makes it more compelling.
This outstanding smartwatch comes in two variants, which is Sports and Classic. And it is very hard for you to identify, which one is sports and which one is classic, the black body edition is Sports, while the silver body edition is the Classic one. It was originally launched in London on November 2018, it costs around $199 for the sports edition and $229 for the classic edition.
Huawei Watch GT is a very thin and lightweight smartwatch with a full-colour display and stunning design. It comes with 1.39-inch AMOLED display, which makes the screen bright and clear. According to TechRadar, “This is one of the best screens we’ve seen on a smartwatch, which is why it’s a bit of a shame there’s no Wear OS software on the watch to provide apps other than Huawei’s default selection”.
It gives you two buttons on the right-hand side of the watch that permit you to navigate around its interface when you’re not using the touchscreen itself. Huawei GT’s design is just compelling with the combination of ceramic and metal that looks premium on the wrist.
